Jerk & Jollof Fest is more than food and music, it’s about culture, connection, and community. Volunteers make it all possible, from welcoming guests to making sure every beat, bite, and booth runs smoothly. If you’re passionate about celebrating community, food and African and Caribbean heritage, this is your moment.
Volunteer Roles
There’s a role for every vibe:
- Guest check-in and information
- KidsZone assistants
- JJ Olympics crew
- Treasure Hunt & games support
- Food & Marketplace team
- Set-up and clean-up
- Media/content (photo, video, social)
- Stage and entertainment runners
You’ll be supported with training and a team lead. No experience needed, just your energy and community spirit.

The Volunteer Scholarship Raffle

We know that service takes heart, time, and hustle. That’s why we created the Jerk & Jollof Volunteer Scholarship Raffle to support the dreams of our community’s future leaders.
Scholarship Value: Two awards between $250–$500
Eligibility:
- Must complete 2 shifts at Jerk & Jollof Fest 2025
- Must be between the ages of 16 and 30
- Must submit a short application and proof of post-secondary enrollment or intended enrollment in 2025–2026 (college, university, or trades)
How to Apply
All eligible volunteers will receive an email after the festival with a short application form. Winners will be selected by random draw from qualifying applicants and announced in September 2025.
This scholarship is our way of recognizing the energy and commitment that powers this festival. Whether you’re helping with KidsZone or managing the main stage, your time matters.
